For registered charities, we check the legal name, registration number, status, designation, and available registration dates against the Canada Revenue Agency listing.
Official organization information
We check public descriptions, programs, locations, and donation destinations against organization-controlled sources. Profiles show descriptive source links and the date of review.
Scope of verification
“Information verified” means key public details were checked against the identified sources. Beaver Ledger does not perform a financial audit, certify outcomes, endorse an organization, or guarantee that information will never change.
Donations and privacy
Beaver Ledger does not hold or process donation funds. Donation links lead to an organization-controlled flow, and our event layer excludes gift amounts, tax results, and personal information.
Relationships and payment
Listings identify editorial, founding-partner, or sponsored relationships. Payment cannot buy verified status, influence calculator results, or determine rankings. Beaver Ledger does not currently rank charities.
Corrections
Material changes are rechecked and profiles can be paused when key details cannot be confirmed. Read the correction process →
